The Role:

Reporting to the National Fitness & Vendor Supply Manager, the Product Training & Education Manager plays a crucial role within the Anytime Fitness Operations team supporting the portfolio of Collective Wellness Group (CWG) brands. This role is responsible for leading fitness & member experiences through the training, education and development of products for the CWG brands and supporting various Vendor & Supply activities in collaboration with the National Fitness & Vendor Supply Manager.

 

This opportunity is a full-time, fixed-term position for approximately 8 months on a parental leave contract.

 

Day to day will include:

Anytime Fitness:

  • Partner with the Anytime Fitness Operations team to assist with the growth of Fitness Product usage across the network in line with budget and business targets
  • Continuously review the quality and delivery of products within the network through regular in-club visits to ensure and establish network ‘best practices’
  • Provide ongoing support to the Anytime Fitness Operations team, the franchisee group, and club staff members for all ongoing education and training as required to support fitness and member experience initiatives and/or tools
  • Collaborate with the National Learning & Development Manager to support, manage and deliver network training that aligns with business objectives, projects and initiatives

Vendor Supply

  • Collaborate with the Product Assistant to coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting of Collective Wellness Group rebate reports across each level of supplier
  • Screen all supplier enquiries to ensure viable and effective opportunities are considered for partnership within each brand
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure all monthly and quarterly rebate reports are submitted from suppliers
  • Support the National Fitness and Vendor Supply Manager as required, to build and maintain strong relationships with all vendors and partners across Collective Wellness Group
  • Assist in the coordination and organisation of the Anytime Fitness trade show component of the yearly Anytime Fitness conference as required

Experience and about you:

  • 5+ years of Fitness Industry Management experience (essential)
  • 5+ Years of Personal Training / Group Fitness / Coaching Experience (essential)
  • 2 + years of multi-site fitness industry experience (essential)
  • 1+ year Vendor Supply Relationship Management (desirable)
  • High-Level fitness qualifications such as Cert IV/Diploma in Fitness (Personal Training/Group Exercise), Bachelor’s degree (Exercise Science etc), or other relevant fitness qualifications
  • Demonstrate competency in the delivery of training programs
  • Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively and have confidence in presenting to stakeholders
  • Adhere to Work Health and Safety procedures at all times
  • Manage conflict and negotiate win/win outcomes
  • Manage time and competing priorities across various brands and responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of global and local industry trends and best practices in Fitness (PT & GX)
  • Expert knowledge in personal training, group fitness products/services and Fitness L&D
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications essential
  • People/consumer-focused approach
  • A passion for health and fitness
  • Positive and motivated self-starter
