The role?

You are responsible for motivating and coaching groups our science back, technology tracked, coach inspired workouts. You navigate the class through daily workouts while simultaneously motivating and pushing our members to be the best they can be. Your other tasks include:

  • Demonstrate movements and modify the workout for all fitness levels where appropriate
  • Modify the workout for people with injuries and special requirements
  • Explain to our members what their results mean
  • Encourage and motivate our members to push for continued growth
  • Assist operational staff with inductions and facility viewings
  • Administer first aid when/if required

About you:

  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Certificate III/IV in Fitness
  • Must hold or obtain before starting a current CPR and first aid certificate
  • 1+ year experience teaching group fitness classes, as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor (not essential, but preferred)
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
  • Positive, motivating, and effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organised
  • Ability and desire to train all fitness levels
  • Team player
  • Customer centric attitude
