Collective Wellness Group (CWG), Australia’s leader in health and fitness franchising, is actively searching for a Group Marketing Manager. 


CWG is the fastest growing fitness franchisor in Australia, with franchise brands including Anytime Fitness, Orangetheory Fitness and Xtend Barre. 


The Group Marketing Manager will play a key role in the growth of CWG and the brands in our franchise portfolio and is responsible for developing the brand strategies, supporting local area marketing groups, franchisees and managing the CWG brand management team. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional track record of leading and executing local brand strategy.

More about the role:

  • Develop and drive short and long term tactical growth strategies
  • Develop retention strategies and initiatives to improve member experience
  • Working seamlessly with the digital marketing team to ensure integration and success across digital platforms and media
  • Strengthen our brands and positioning in market
  • Lead and manage the brand function including coaching, mentoring and ongoing training
  • Drive franchise engagement of the marketing function
  • Manage external agency relationships and processes, ensuring KPIs are achieved
  • Report monthly on all marketing and campaign activity

About you:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in an integrated marketing role using both traditional and new media practices, preferably in retail or franchising
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher will be highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of digital media landscape required. Specialist skills in brand, PR and traditional media essential
  • Proven capability of leading and mentoring a team to meet and exceed quarterly and annual KPIs
  • Stellar presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in order to connect and inspire
  • Proactive and creative thinker
  • Commercially focused with strong budget management experience
  • Experience in franchising is highly desirable
  • Previous experience or strong passion for the fitness industry is preferable
