We are currently seeking a results-driven and confident Financial Controller to manage and improve our organisation's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. The role is new to our Finance team and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. 

 

The responsibilities of the Financial Controller across the Collective Wellness Group brands include:

  • Managing accounting records

  • Evaluating and managing risk

  • Ensuring compliance with regulations

  • Publishing financial statements

  • Overseeing accounting operations

  • Analysing financial data

  • Monitoring expenditure

  • Budgeting and forecasting revenue

  • Coordinating auditing processes

  • Cashflow management and ensuring accuracy of financial information

  •  Oversight and objective setting of team of Accountants, including Payroll function

The person we're looking for:

  • University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management Administration
  • CPA (Certified Practising Accountants) or CA (Chartered Accountants) designation
  • Three to five years of progressive financial responsibility
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Well developed written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Compliance oriented
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Auditing experience highly preferable
  • Belief in our brands and health & wellness
